As parents, many of us think that the ‘money talk’ can wait until our children are much older. Increasingly, studies are revealing that basic money habits are formed by the age of seven. The sooner we start talking to our children about money, the smarter they will be at managing their cash in the future.
In a cashless age where we increasingly rely on plastic for those everyday expenses, Camp Coin teaches children sound financial skills in the classroom in an interactive, engaging and memorable way. It also leaves your child with valuable tools to continue the conversation at home.
As a parent or teacher, you can sign up for a free visit from Camp Coin. This workshop will be delivered in the classroom by RSM’s financially savvy advisers.
Some of the many concepts covered include an understanding of the history of money, managing needs vs wants, identifying the real value of items and budgeting. Your children will also get some fantastic prizes!
