William Laird is a Director of the Business Advisory division of RSM with over 18 years' experience as a trusted advisor to many agribusiness clients. 


William understands the 'ins' and 'outs' of the agribusiness industry and is focused on seeing his clients succeed in business. He provides simplified solutions to complex problems and is one of Toowoomba's most trusted agribusiness advisors.

Bruce McConnel is the General Manager of Food Leaders Australia, bringing with him a wealth of experience in agribusiness management. 


Food Leaders Australia (FLA) is a sister entity of TSBE, and exists to support the growth of food and agricultural businesses to allow them to capitalise on new market opportunities, innovation and export.

Professor Craig Baillie is an Agricultural Engineer with 24 years' experience in Agricultural Research, Development and Extension (R, D & E). Craig is currently the Director of the Centre for Agricultural Engineering (CAE) based at the University of Southern Queensland.

Craig's role within the Centre for Agricultural Engineering includes research management, business development (new projects) and the commercialisation / adoption of engineering technologies developed by the centre.

Craig's primary research interests include farming systems innovation and technology solutions to improve farm productivity and profitability.

Ari McCamley is a Partner in Thynne + Macartney's specialist agribusiness legal team with over 12 years' experience. He protects the interests of farmers and graziers as they buy and sell rural properties, operate their businesses or deal with mining and gas companies looking to access their land.

The firm's clients include agricultural businesses in Queensland, the Northern Territory and the border areas of Northern New South Wales, including over 1,200 corporations and families, many of whom have remained clients of the firm for multiple generations.

Cameron MacMillan commenced as Chief Executive Officer of QRIDA in 2015, previously holding the position of Executive Director of International Business and Agribusiness at BDO.

Cameron's career includes 15 years as a Trade Commissioner and State Manager with the Australian Government's trade facilitation agency, Austrade. As CEO, Cameron reports to QRIDA's Board of Directors and the Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries.
