PRACTICALITIES OF ESG FOR AGRIBUSINESS WORKSHOP
This workshop is designed to help all businesses in the agribusiness supply chain respond to the growing demands from enterprise customers to disclose not only emissions data, but broader ESG information.

While current requests focus on carbon emissions, there is an increased pressure to disclose supply chain impacts on topics such as water management, employment practices, and customer health and safety.
This half day workshop will focus on the three key areas below:
  • An overview of the ESG and agribusiness landscape
  • In conversation with Larissa Taylor, Director, Savoir Consulting: ESG, Sustainability, Food & Agribusiness, and Nick Ruddenklau, Farm Manager, Epasco Farms to discuss some of the major drivers, hurdles and opportunities around navigating ESG and sustainability demands in agriculture.
  • ESG Essentials for Agribusiness
  • Stakeholder expectations
  • Reporting landscape
  • Data Collection
  • Communication
  • ESG strategy and integration
  • Group Q&A – Sharing of insights and experience
Why Agribusinesses need ESG
Coles has recently announced that it expects 75% of its suppliers (by spend) to set emissions targets by 2027. This heralds the start of a landslide of carbon emissions and ESG disclosure requests that primary producers will ultimately need to respond to.

Agribusinesses across the full supply chain require practical tools and strategies to thrive in an era where sustainable practices are central to success. By focusing on environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and robust governance practices, agribusinesses can enhance their reputation, unlock new opportunities for growth, and improve their risk management.

The Practicalities of ESG for agribusinesses workshop is the first step on the journey to knowing the essentials of ESG for your business.
