At this session, you will hear from Albert Ferraloro on how to identify important IP within your business, understand its true value, and measures to consider to get the right IP strategy in place to support your commercial endeavours. Albert will discuss forms of IP patents, trade marks and registered designs to trade secrets, copyright and other IP protection options. 

In addition, Jessica Olivier will provide insights and guidance regarding how to get the most out of your IP development financially. She will discuss how to effectively trace your development work and activities, so that you are in a strong position to claim R&D tax credits and other innovation-related incentives in order to optimise cash flow for the business.

He has over 28 years’ experience in the IP area, having worked both in-house and in private practice in a number of different roles and has a vast knowledge of IP assets and the effective management of such assets.

Jess is a Principal of the Tax Services division in Sydney, providing specialist R&D tax incentive compliance and consulting services. She specialises in R&D tax and other government tax incentives and assists a diverse range of industries to identify R&D opportunities and access the R&D tax benefits, including start-up innovators, SMEs and large multi-national corporations.
